Susan Carter is Data Blueprint’s Chief Executive Officer with over 20 years of experience in IT Application Development, Data Engineering, Business Process Engineering, Program Management and Strategic Planning. Her business knowledge and experience coupled with her technical expertise affords her the unique ability to analyze business needs and strategy through the eyes of an IT professional.
Ms. Carter started her career at MCI, where she applied full lifecycle development methodologies to Knowledge Management, Artificial Intelligence, Imaging and Workflow applications. She joined Data Blueprint in 2005, and has since led Corporate Strategy and Operations, Business Development and Program Management for major projects, including DLA, VCU Massey Cancer Center, and the U.S. Army CIO/G6.
Ms. Carter is an exceptional communicator, experienced lecturer and well-regarded author, with numerous presentations, and publications in the areas of expert systems development, and data management and assessment to her credit. She holds a Master of Information Science in Information Systems Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University, and dual Bachelor's of Science in Information Systems and Marketing Management from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
